Black pepper
The most traded spice in the world, black pepper is used to flavor a variety of applications. The unripe berries of the pepper plant are picked when turning yellow and immediately dried after harvest with the skin on. As it dries, enzymes in the berries cause the skin to turn black and wrinkly.
White pepper
A milder form of pepper, with a lightly fermented aroma and taste, white pepper is grown on the same vine as black pepper. However, white pepper is picked ripe (black pepper is picked when unripe and processed to remove the outer skin, leaving behind a smooth white finish on the berry. White pepper tastes bright and sharp and slightly more herbaceous than black pepper. Thanks to our world-class pepper processing facilities in Vietnam, we have grinding capabilities to match all customer specifications.

Becoming the world’s largest pepper plantation
Located in Vietnam's central highlands, our plantation is set to become the world's largest pepper plantation. This fully integrated operation—from cultivation to processing enables complete control over quality and supply.
Advanced agriculture We employ cutting-edge agricultural practices, including greenhouse-grown planting materials and drip irrigation systems. And thanks to our state-of-the-art greenhouse nursery in Vietnam, we have a capacity to produce over 1,000,000 plants every year. Close monitoring of these plants means 90% of the plants we grow are healthy and robust for field planting.

Soil protection and carbon reduction in Brazil
100% of pest and disease management on the farm is through use of microorganisms. We have not used chemicals used in pest and disease control for three years
We protect soil by allowing grass to grow between rows of plants, instead of tilling. This provides protection from heavy rain, increases organic matter and decreases temperature
We plant and maintain 40 hectares of eucalyptus as a re-forestation initiative, and to offset carbon emissions from our pepper plantation
